Eye Wastes Away

by | Podcast

Psalm 6:7 (ESV)
My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes.

Based on Psalm 6:7, this message highlights how grief, pain, and the people around us can affect our ability to see clearly and remain focused on God. Like the Psalmist, we need to recognise when sorrow is weakening our spiritual vision instead of allowing it to quietly shape our perspective. Jesus Himself endured the cross by fixing His eyes on the joy set before Him, and Job continued to declare his faith in God even in the midst of tremendous loss. The message encourages us to acknowledge our pain without allowing it to take our eyes off the Lord. As we fix our gaze on Jesus, He gives us grace to see with faith, receive perspective, overcome overwhelming circumstances, and continue pursuing the purpose and promises He has placed before us.
