Welcome to another hope-filled and faith-filled day with Jesus!
The Bible says that people of Jericho were afraid of the Israelites that they shut the gates and they lifted up their defences to the highest.
Oftentimes when God wants us to conquer a particular area in our life we see alot of impossibilities around us, we can only see shut doors and gates! But this is when we need to intentionally ask God for a word in our situation.
Bible says in spite the shut doors, gates and the tight security the Israelites saw, God still told them that they will conquer Jericho.
The Israelites believed God’s word and never debated with God! They believed what God told them. Jericho was theirs even before they could go and conquer it!
Now the question we need to ponder on is “has God given this to you?” maybe a relationship or a job or even ministry?
When God gives you something, no one can take it away! No matter how hard or challenging it may seem if God said it is yours, it is yours.
This morning we need to mediate on what God has given us and not what He hasn’t.
I pray you will learn how to take authority and steward well the blessings God has given you.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
