Romans 1:17 – For in it, the righteousness of God is revealed through faith, for faith, as it is written, the one who is righteous will live by faith
Apostle Paul is establishing the importance of the gospel. He says, I am not ashamed of the gospel because I know that the power of God resides in the gospel, and it is only trough faith that somebody can access the gospel, it is only through faith that somebody can enter into the gospel. We should know that there is no other way to receive from the Lord other than by faith. The gospel is the Good News, the blessings that God has kept in store for us, fulfilment of all the promises that have been made all the way from Abraham down to king David and through the prophets, the gospel is the fulfilment of every single one of those words. Today, when we have to receive anything from God, we have to go back to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The fact that “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.” When he gave us his son, in him he gave us everything else. In him we have received all the physical blessings, relational blessings, emotional health, mental health, financial prosperity, and everything that is available for us in God is shut in him. That, my dear friend, is the gospel.
Now, we have to believe that Jesus is the expression of God’s love for us. When we believe, the bible says, for in the gospel is the righteousness of God revealed. The more we look at the world around us, the more we look at poverty, pain, sickness, struggle, and lack around us the further we will drift away from a revelation of God’s righteousness. But, the more that we fix our eyes on Jesus, the more we will be confident and assured that God is good. W e will understand the righteousness of God because the bible says “for in it the righteousness of God is revealed”. It is already revealed but it is not revealed for everybody, it is only revealed for those who will enter into this dimension of receiving the gospel through faith. When we believe and trust the word of God, when we trust the plan, the promises of God, a whole new world opens up to you, a whole new dimension becomes real and personal to you. But, the beauty is that we enter into this dimension through faith and we sustain it also through faith.
It says, “for in it the righteousness of God is revealed through and for faith.” When you enter in, you need faith, and after you enter in you work towards greater faith. In other words, we cannot survive in the kingdom of God without faith. So many times, I have faltered in my relationship with God, I have fallen prey to temptations, I have fallen prey to my own insecurity, I have fallen prey to pride, jealousy, anger, and all kinds of lusts. I know the root cause of each one of those faltering, mistakes was my faith was not strong. Every time, I was dependent on my own ability to be righteous, pure, strong; I have failed big time. Because the righteousness of God is not achieved through works and for works, but it is achieved through faith and for faith.
That is why he finishes the scripture by quoting the Old Testament, where he says “the righteous will live by faith”. They will do their relationship with God by faith, they will do their marriages by faith, manage their finances by faith, they will do ministry by faith, their parenting by faith, they will do their relationships, handle all of lives opportunities and challenges and struggles; each and every step will be taken by faith. Any time that we step out of faith and we step into our own ability to please God, our own works to impress God we are going to fail in the kingdom of God. We may even actually be able to have a great character and great purity and great lifestyle on the outside but we will not qualify for the righteousness of God. The righteousness of God is achieved only by faith, through faith, and towards faith.
Today, I am inviting you my dear friends to make that active choice, that decision to believe that God is on your side, to believe that everything that you need is found in him; to believe that everything that you require for satisfaction, for life, for marriage, money, resources in life are found in Christ. If you will believe this a 100%, then you are going to experience what it means to be in the kingdom of God. Then you are about to experience what it means to be truly righteous in the eyes of God. Then you are about to experience a spirit of overcoming and a spirit of victory.

Feel For Him
Acts 17:27 (GNT)
He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us.
Lock the Door
Matthew 23:13 (GNT)
““How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You lock the door to the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, but you yourselves don’t go in, nor do you allow in those who are trying to enter!”
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
