Good morning and greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this beautiful new day and this beautiful new month.
We are favored by the Lord. The Lord is on our side. The Lord is fighting for us, the Lord is in fact vouching for us. There are principalities and powers that are at work to bring you down, to discourage you, to dissuade you from entering into your destiny and yet without your knowledge today, the Lord is fighting for you. He is advocating for you. He is in fact preparing a way for you. He is going to divide the Red Sea and He is going to prepare a way for you in the midst of the wilderness, if you will trust Him, if you will continue to let Him have His way, although I understand that it can be a very difficult process for us to do it.
Let’s read the story of Job and his confession. This is from Job chapter 30:15. We know the history and the context of this verse. He is being tormented and tortured by the devil and everything that he had and everything that he owned has been stolen from him. His relationships; his wealth; his health; even his intimacy; his own family; his marriage and his children got taken away from him and that is the man that we are hearing from. It says in Job 30:15, “I live in terror now. My honor has blown away in the wind, and my prosperity has vanished like a cloud.” This is what Job is seeing in the natural. When he looks around all that he can see is terror; all that he can see is fear; all that he can see is negativity; all that he can see is sadness and sorrow that is surrounding him.
I am not going to blame Job for this, because he didn’t had a revelation of God the way you and I do. He didn’t had scriptures, he didn’t had the Holy Spirit, he didn’t had know about the resurrection of Jesus to bank upon.
Well, that’s not the case with you and I. We don’t have a reason to fear. We don’t have a reason to continue to live in terror. We understand that we have not been given a spirit of timidity or of fear or one that is going to look down on ourselves. We have been given a spirit of power, love and sound mind. We’ve been given a spirit of adoption. We’ve been blessed to be called as sons of God, as children of God, as the beloved of God. So you and I, we don’t have any reasons to live in terror.
For Job, he couldn’t see the end of the tunnel. He couldn’t see any reason for living, and yet he was expressing his frustrations, and his challenges, and his struggles to God.
But today I want to explain to you; Jesus is the end of the tunnel; Jesus is the light in the tunnel; Jesus is the way through the tunnel. you know, the one person who understands Job’s pain is Jesus Himself, because Jesus; He was rich but He had to become poor, not for His own sake but for our sake; not for His own benefits but for our benefit, He became poor. Jesus had to carry the terror of death upon Himself. Jesus had to carry dishonor.
The next statement that Job makes is, “My honor was blown away in the wind”; and Jesus took that for us. Do you know, that Jesus was dishonored; He was disrespected; He was hung naked. He was dishonored in the physical realm; in the spiritual realm; in the financial realm; in the emotional realm; in the relational realm; everything that you can think of, He got dishonored by His very own. His very own rejected Him. His very own disciples, they deserted Him. Nobody trusted in who He really was. He was dishonored, so that you and I, we don’t have to continue to live in that dishonor. So that we can be accepted, covered and celebrated.
The next line from Job’s prayer, he says, “My prosperity has vanished like a cloud”. Now we know what Jesus did for us. Though He was rich, He became poor for our sake, so that you and I, we can become rich; we can be established; we can be restored in our relationship with God; we can be restored in our finances; we can be restored in our wealth, in everything that God has planned for our lives. So will you receive this from God today?
We have the privilege of seeing what Job couldn’t see. That’s why Jesus said, “The people of Nineveh will stand in judgement against this generation because they repented at the preaching of Jonah but now somebody greater than Jonah is here”; somebody more important than Jonah is here and you are not paying attention to Him.
Job’s revelation was limited but our revelation is complete because of Jesus. He is our honor; He is our prosperity; He is the one who give us courage and strength to live in the most terror filled days of our life.

This new month that is ahead of you, it is filled with uncertainty. There are going to be several fears and doubts that may come into your spirit but will you trust in what Jesus had already done? Will you trust in the finished work of Jesus? Will you trust in the honor and the prosperity that Jesus purchased for you?
Let’s pray: Lord we yield our hearts to you. We will not live in terror anymore. We will not live in dishonor anymore. We will not live in poverty anymore. We don’t have to, because of what you have done. So now, the weak will say we are strong. The poor will say we are rich. The blind will say I can see because of what You have done for us. We thank you Lord and in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
