Give Up Threatening
Ephesians 6:9 (NKJV)
And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him

The devotion also points to David’s treatment of Uriah as an example of how abusing authority deeply grieves the heart of God. As a leader, you are called to examine your conversations, decisions, and attitudes, ensuring they are marked by fairness, generosity, and respect. Since both leaders and followers serve the same Master in heaven, you are reminded that God shows no partiality and will one day ask each person to give an account for how they stewarded the people entrusted to them.
