Greetings in Jesus precious name!
The Lord is drawing close to you. The more you respond to Him and the more you draw near to Him, you will encounter His presence.
The evidence that His presence is with us or near to us is through the victories, breakthroughs, answers, solutions, healing, deliverance or things that we have been waiting on Him for a really long time, things we may not have prayed about or expected from Him in this season; He is preparing to release all these into your life. That should be the evidence for you dear friends that God is very near.
In the Bible, the story of the disciples where they go out fishing and the whole night they try to catch fish but failed to catch even one but when morning came and saw this man screaming from the shores saying “hey, put your nets on this side” and they obeyed and did it and caught a large catch in fact 153 large fishes is what the Bible says. When they saw this overwhelming victory and breakthrough and blessing God had given them, for them it was evidence the sign of the fact that this is Jesus; the one who is coming close to us, the one who is coming near is in fact, Jesus. The Bible says that as they reached the shore nobody dared to ask Him who He was because they all knew this is Jesus. As they reached the shore, breakfast was already prepared for them as it is written in John 21:9 ..” when they got there they found breakfast waiting for them” Jesus had made breakfast for them, fish was cooking on the charcoal fire and even some bread. We assume that Jesus did everything. He did not depend on them and what they were doing all through the night, Jesus is not depending on what they have caught even now nor with His blessing even now. He did not depend on anything at all yet He said to them to bring some of the fish they had just caught and to bring it to Him so He could prepare food for them. Isn’t that amazing?
This is Jesus who first gave me the ability to catch a fish but this is Jesus who prepared a breakfast for me without having to depend on me to bring the fish to Him and yet He is going to wait and going to ask me for the fish that I have caught using His help and bring it to Him.
The Lord is waiting for each one of you to bring the fishes that He has blessed you with, the blessings that He has given you this season. I know that your deliverance is coming, your healing has come, your answers have come but the question is are you willing to bring your fish to Jesus? Are you willing to bring a testimony of healing back to Jesus? Are you willing to give up everything that you are receiving as a promotion as a blessing to Jesus? Are you bringing blessings back to the Lord?
It is not that Jesus needed the fish that His disciples caught as you read verse 9, it says fish was already cooking on the charcoal fire when they reached there and breakfast was already prepared so remember He is not dependent on your blessings or your worship to Him, He is not dependent on your giving to Him, not dependent on your tithing or your offerings or how much time you are going to give Him or the efforts you take to seek after His heart and yet He pursues you to see if you are willing to bring the fish you have just caught. Not of your past but in your current season, the blessings that you have received in this season, the help you have received, the voice you have heard this season, the Rhema, the revelation you have received this season what that has produced in you, He wants to have that fish. He says “bring some of that fish you’ve just caught”.
Let’s ask ourselves this morning, what are those fishes in our life, what are some of those blessings in our heart and in our home, in our ministry that we need to bring back to our Lord. The words that the Lord has given you. Peter and the whole lot; were utter failures in trying to catch the fish, they tried for an entire night and still, it didn’t work and it took instruction from the Lord to catch this large catch. That was the catch that Jesus was expecting them to now bring it to Him. He didn’t allow them to catch the fish and then go to the market and sell to receive blessing and whatever they wanted to do no! He said bring some of the fish to Me first, bring it here, let’s celebrate over what you have received from Me, let’s celebrate what you have been learning in this season, let’s celebrate what you have been blessed with. You celebrate that by bringing it to Me, by surrendering it to the Lord, by worshipping Him for those things that you’ve received in this season.
God is not dependent on our giving, and yet He pursues us which must be the reason for our giving. Share on XThis morning the Lord is asking us to do something out of the ordinary, out of the normal. Bring some of the fish that you have just caught and just received says, Jesus. According to your personal revelation this morning, step out of your boat in faith and bring some of the fish you have caught to Jesus and you’ll see the blessing of God. The Lord is preparing to do great and might things through your humility, your submission and your surrender!
God bless you!
