Greetings my dear brothers and sisters. Wherever you are, I pray that the Lord will reveal His glory and His grace to you today. And when you see his presence, you will have a new understanding of what God is doing in our lives.
It’s not enough that we know what God did yesterday; it’s not enough to know what God will do tomorrow, it is necessary we understand what God will do TODAY!
In the book of Isaiah chapter 40 vs 5, the Prophet is declaring the word of the Lord and he is giving us a glimpse of how God will move here on the earth.
“Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together.
The Lord has spoken!”
The Bible says “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed” and as a result, all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord has spoken
Let’s take a minute to expound on what it means to have the glory of the Lord to be revealed here on the earth. There are many people who have desired to experience the Glory of God. One of them is Moses in the old testament who cried out saying, ‘show me your face and glory. Let me experience your tangible Shekinah glory.’
The important thing to notice is that Moses was somebody who had already experienced this glory of God. During that time, the glory of God would come down in a cloud everyday, it would lead them as a pillar of fire in the night and as a cloud in the morning. This was a God who was always present and tangible to the people of Israel, yet Moses would cry out for a revelation of God’s glory, which means that the Glory of God can be revealed in different measures.
The glory of God can look or manifest different in different seasons. It is necessary for us to ask the Lord what it means for your glory to be revealed. In the new testament, there is a particular story when the disciples meet a blind man from his birth and the disciples started blaming all the people that could be responsible for this man to be born blind. In fact, they asked Jesus whose sin is responsible for this man’s blindness. Is it his or his parents’ sin? Who made the mistake that this person has to spend his entire life being blind on earth? Jesus looks at them and says,’it’s neither because of his sin or his parents.’
Instead He said; it is because of the Glory of God. Jesus looks at something that is very negative, something that we would attribute to Satan, and He says, ‘this is a product of God’s glory. When you look at this blind man, you see an opportunity to blame somebody, but when I look at him, I see the glory of God all over him. I see an opportunity of God to manifest through his testimony.’
So if you are asking for the glory of God to be revealed today, you need to properly discern and understand which aspect of your life is the Lord’s glory being revealed.
Because sometimes, God’s glory is there and we don’t recognize it. Instead we reject and criticize it. We try to push those people and those circumstances out of our lives.
The Glory of God can be sensed in the spirit and soul realm, but the flesh seeing is a victory! The flesh in the physical realm (the ones that are not even spiritual) will see it together.
Today, I am being the mouth of the Lord in your life and declaring this over you; let the Glory of God be revealed in your home and conversations, finances, ministry, etc. Let it manifest in your going out and coming in. Not only will you experience it, but also let all the people in your influence see it together. Receive this in the mighty name of Jesus. Now it’s the time for you to identify and celebrate this glory. Thank you for tuning in.
Have a blessed and beautiful day ahead.
