Welcome to another day with Jesus, the lover of our souls!
Hope this morning’s podcast will truly bless and equip you for the day.
Now the term “Humble yourself and God will lift you in honour” has been repeated several times in the Word. Jesus has said it, James and Paul quoted it too!
Today, keep this in your heart and mind, that if you want God to lift you up then you will have to be willing to humble yourself at the feet of Jesus.
Many of us go through humility or humble situations not because we wanted to be humble but God had to humble you and apply the brakes on your life.
It is not about that humility. It’s about what God said if you exalt yourself, you will be humbled but if you humble yourself, you will be exalted.
It’s easy to point fingers at others’ mistakes, failures and struggles but when we look at our own lives we find it hard and impossible to humble and submit before God.
Jesus planned and laid down His life, God didn’t push it on Him. He humbled Himself to the point of death.
We can humble ourselves for a day but God is calling us for a lifestyle of being humble, laying ourselves everyday at the altar and dying to ourself. When we do that, you move God’s heart to elevate you!
And when God lifts you up, He does it with style and honour.
I pray this season, you will take a step of faith and lay yourself down at God’s altar and tell God not my will but Your will God.
You are a blessing!
