Mature in Understanding
Listen
Transcript:
Apostle Paul gives the church an important instruction. He says when it comes to sin and doing evil that will misrepresent God, we need to be innocent as babies. This is something we need to pray for asking God to keep as innocent and unaware as a new born baby.
If we have fallen into sin, we can come to God asking God to renew our heart and our mind and cleanse us from all sin.
Even as Apostle Paul says be innocent when it comes to evil, he also mentions us to be mature and aware in certain matters like spiritual gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and how to use them for the benefit of the church.
So often we are living quite opposite of this instruction what Paul has given us! We are living aware of the evil in the world but when it comes to the things of the spirit we live unaware!
We are all ears on whose gossiping about who, what’s going on in the neighborhood, whose dating who but we are not intentional on how we can use our spiritual abilities and gifts to serve God and His church.
This morning can we start fixing our hearts and minds on the things of God?
I pray that this morning podcast will make you hungry and set you on fire for the things of God, for His word, become mature on how we serve one another, how to love believers and non believers, how to forgive and love our enemies!
I pray that we become people that run after God and the things of God and become mature in our spirit.
You’re a blessing!
The more you hunger & seek, the more you will receive and grow! Share on X
