Greetings in Jesus’ name. I pray that we continue to receive from the Lord, continue to grow in the Lord and have a revelation of his presence in our lives. So often, we take his presence in our lives for granted. We just assume that he is everywhere with us all times and working out everything for our good; all these things become general information and we are not awed by it anymore or worshiping God every time that revelation hits our spirit, it’s just
general information but today one of the things of us falling afresh with God is falling in love with small things i that will excite us, with us responding back with great adoration, great praise, great sacrificial worship and as you begin to respond to these revelations will begin to manifest.

The word will become flesh, transform your relationships, become tangible in your relationships, will begin change your finances and will begin to change your whole world around you. The Lord says in Isaiah 28:5 “In that day the LORD of hosts will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of his people”.

What a blessing, an assurance and promise God is giving us today. The Lord looking for a remnant in every generation. The remnant is a group left behind after great judgement or a great decision or great problem, which took majority of people away.

When Jesus was teaching the disciples he said that broad is the way that leads to destruction, but narrow is the way that leads to life; so God is looking for a remnant that is not looking for the pleasures of this world, that is not deceived by what people are following or what the latest trends are or what everybody else wants to do, they’re not deceived by anything that this world is trying to lure them in to. So, the Lord is looking at this remnant, this minority group that who nobody cares or wants; everybody thinks are weird to hang out with, the lord is looking at that particular remnant and says, “I am the lord of hosts, God of the angel armies, Yahweh Sabaoth and I will be your crown of glory and diadem of beauty.”

What are those things that you would like to decorate yourself with? For some, it might be the latest suit from the most expensive brand, for some it might be the shoes that they are waiting to hit the market, to pick up as available. For some it might be the latest iPhone or latest Apple watch or something they would like to use to look good, but the problem with these external things that add beauty and glamour to our lives is that they never satisfy the longing of our hearts and something or the other can always out do what we have.
Someone else can have a better watch than you do or somebody else can have a better car or a better house than you do and that’s where God says, “don’t decorate yourself with these things” Praise God for great blessings but don’t derive your validation from these things, instead let me become your crown. Let my presence become your beauty, let my covering be something that you will enjoy and that is what people will enjoy the most about you.

If people celebrate you purely for external factors like looks, education, knowledge, emotions, dressing sense or social life, then we are walking on shaky ground. At any point, these shaky things can be overtaken at any point by anything else. When we derive our ultimate protection, provision and beauty from our God. If we say Yahweh Tsevaot, the lord of hosts is my crown of beauty, my glory, my shield, the lifter of my head; he is a diadem of beauty; the one who adds glory upon glory to my life. It is not my marriage, the people who support me or social media but the presence of God within me that I host in my spirit, that is visible when I speak that is now tangible in the world around me, becomes my greatest decoration, my greatest beautifying factor, my greatest glory.

Church, can we be hungry for a state like that, where we derive our ultimate validation, significance and social status from the fact that we have Gods presence in our lives. If we have him, we have everything. If we don’t have him, we have nothing in this world, our life, because the Bible says, “If I find that remnant, I will become a crown of glory, and be a diadem of beauty to each and everyone of them.”
