Good Morning and Greetings in Jesus’ name. I hope you are ready and receptive and willing to let the Lord have a say in every aspect of our lives. We cannot call in Lord and keep Him at bay! When we call Him Lord, we give Him an invitation to come and change our lives completely.

Mark 10:21 says, “Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

There is a love and compassion and earnest desire that Jesus had toward this person. We know how this story ended. The rich man was very disappointed of what Jesus told Him. But, if we look at how Jesus started speaking to him, we see that Jesus was beholding Him, He was looking into His life and the choices he would have to make in years to come. He was seeing every aspect of his life and with that eternal perspective Jesus was about to give him instruction.

God’s opinion about our life is not limited on how we feel, or what we think or want temporarily. When He tells us certain things, because He has been beholding us, He understands us, perceives us, He is able to look into every aspect of our lives. And that is why we need to value His opinion as it is coming from a high dimension, from an eternal perspective.

Not only did Jesus behold Him, He also loved Him. Jesus loved this young man and therefore asked him to give up all his money. It is the love that Jesus had for this young man that pushed Jesus to demand such a thing from this young man.

These are the two reason why you have to trust God and obey Him:

  1. It is because He can see everything. He beholds your life. He understands the rejection you have been through.
  2. He loves you. God’s love for you now demands that He gives an opinion for you.

Father we thank you for your dear children. I pray that this revelation that you see them and you love them will become very real and because of this revelation they will be able to freely obey and trust you and live for you.

Lock the Door

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
