We are protected, covered by God’s presence, His voice. He has made a vow to protect you and to anything that belongs to you. Today you can rest assured that none of the threats that the enemy is trying to intimidate you with. He who is in you is far greater than he who is in the world. However, it has certain boundaries that you cannot cross.
The Bible says about two spies who went to spy on the land of Jericho on Joshua’s instructions. There was a woman, Rahab who gave them refuge, protected them, and gave them a meal. The spies made a covenant with her when they were leaving that no harm would come to her and her family. There were two conditions – A scarlet cord that shall be tied by the window – Rahab had to bring every relative who wished to be saved, be it her father, mother, or brothers into her house. The scarlet cord condition is a picture of a representation of the blood of Jesus who covers us. If God doesn’t find the blood of Jesus or you don’t seek refuge in the cleansing blood of Jesus, then God is not obligated to cover you. God has already made a way. It is for us to stay under the protection. Not only are we redeemed by the blood, but now we are given a new sanctuary because of His blood. When the Lord gives you a spiritual family that is going to become a wall around you, it is for your blessing.
God’s provision of his protection is for you to be under the covering of the blood and within the boundary walls of the house which is under his protection. Submit to the power of the blood of Jesus – Identify the house where you should be rooted. There may be famine or a disease going outside the house, but it will not affect you because of the vow spoken for you! May the lord give you grace to be found inside the house of your covering.
