Greetings my dear friends! Welcome to this amazing new morning.
This morning, this day, this weekend is going to be a blessing to us if we will get to see and experience Jesus more. When we understand the power that Jesus has, when we understand the extent of his kingdom and the extent of the victory that he has won for us, absolutely nothing will be impossible for him and through him and because of him.
Revelation chapter 5 verse 5 says, “And one of the ancients said to me: Weep not; behold the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”
John the Apostle is praying and he’s asking God as to why nobody is found worthy to open the book, to break the seals! And then one of the ancients, the one sitting on one of the 24 thrones, he brings a revelation to John and he tells him, weep not here is Jesus who is the answer to your problem, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, the one who has prevailed and the one worthy. The one who is capable, who is able to now break the seals and to open the book for you.
John needed help and it was one of the ancients who points at Jesus and asks John to stop being upset and to stop weeping and crying. The Lord has placed amazing men and women of God around us and it is necessary that we learn to identify who are the ones that are placed to become a blessing to us, who are the ones that are will point us to Jesus.
The more we acknowledge, the more we understand them, the more it becomes easier for us to encounter Jesus.
You may be in heaven, you may be in the presence of God, you may be in the perfect church, you may be in atmosphere of miracles, you may be in an atmosphere of faith and yet you need to identify the ones that are appointed by God to point you to Jesus.
The bible doesn’t say that the ancient pointed John to himself or to one of the angels nor did he send him to one of those prophets that might be available in heaven! He pointed to Jesus; he pointed John to the one who is worthy; to the one who is able, to the one who is capable of helping John to understand the mysteries of the end of age.
It doesn’t matter what kind of problem you’re facing today, what kind of battle you’re experiencing and what kind of goliath you’re facing; the solution to all of your problems, all of your struggles, all of your challenges is a revelation of Jesus, he’s the one who is worthy, he’s the one who has prevailed, he’s the one who overcame sin, overcame death, overcame all the powers of the enemy and through him you and I will overcome, through him you and I will have a better understanding and a better revelation; through him we will be victorious and we will come out on the other side of it with great rejoicing, blessing and great prosperity.
And here’s is the Lord showing John a revelation and yet to understand that revelation better he needed somebody to point him to Jesus and Jesus was the lion of the tribe of Judah.
Now Jesus had to be magnified, Jesus had to be glorified, Jesus had to be exalted, Jesus had to be put on the spot so that John can now look at Jesus and he can have a fresh revelation, a fresh understanding of Jesus and finally because of seeing Jesus in a new light John will have his problems answered
So I believe that in spite of us having encountered Jesus yesterday there is a new and fresh encounter that is waiting for you today. I’m doing the job of those ancient that are pointing you to Jesus pointing you to the one who is able to help you, who’s able to solve your current problem. I’m here to remind and refresh and invite you into a new encounter with Jesus.
Let’s pray father we thank you for those men of god does woman of God that have been instrumental in our lives to point us to Jesus whenever we have had a need people can’t help us as much as Jesus can because he is the lion of the tribe of Judah, he’s the one who is the root of David, he’s the one who has prevailed who has all the answers that we need God. So we look to him we depend and rely on Jesus today
In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!
