Pastor Priji talks about how we have to be led if we want to be a leader, how important it is to have a leader over us so we can guide others and how we can imitate the greatest leader, Jesus our Shepherd, who is our master.

All of us might not be leaders in the church, but we are called to be leaders at whatever place that God has placed you at right now.

The best example of being a leader is none other than Jesus.

Here are few scriptures and questions that we can ponder on:

Isaiah 1:2-3 NLT
Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the LORD says: “The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me. Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care- but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.“

Christ is the head:

1 Corinthians 11:13 NLT – But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Slaves in the old and new testament:

Exodus 21:5 NLT – But the slave may declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I don’t want to go free.’

Who is your master?

• Are you being led? (Romans 8:14 KJV: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.)
• Are you being fed?
• Are you being moulded? (Jeremiah NLT 18:5-6 “Then the LORD gave me this message: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.”“)

• Are you being taught?
• Are you being corrected?
• Are you being matured?

If your answers to all the above questions is an “yes”, then you are under the right leader that is Christ.
