Day of Anger
Listen
We are blessed today, covered and protected. Are we excited about our identity? Are we aware of How special we are to the Lord? Sometimes we think God is mad or angry with us and He is not pleased with us but when we read the scripture, we will see what it take for God to be angry at us. In today’s scripture, we can see how the wrath of God will be displayed. Truth be told, that day is yet to arrive but Babylon was a nation hurting the heart of God and yet He did not allow His full anger to manifest. If Gods wrath will have to manifest then the heavens will be taken out of place. There will come a day when this will occur but that day is not today.
Today is the day of our salvation and God wants to extend his mercies towards us. It is a day when we can still repent and turn to Him. So often we have a mental picture of God that He is always angry and waiting to punish us or looking for an opportunity to condemn us but that is not the case. The heavens above us and the earth beneath our feet is a sign of Gods steadfast love and these are blessings we sometimes take for granted because they will always be there but the day will come when they will be withdrawn until we reach that day, We have access to the grace and mercy of God which means we have to respond to his love and not wait for the manifestation of Gods wrath because when His wrath is fully displayed then we wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side. Jesus told His disciples as long as heaven and earth is there then not a word or period he spoke will pass away and his promises for us still remains. Today let us respond to Gods invitation and promises for our lives and stop believing that God is angry at us.
The heavens above us and the earth beneath our feet is a sign of God's steadfast love for us. Share on XPrayer: Dear Jesus, welcome to my heart and life today. Help me to respond to your love. I don’t want to wait for your anger to fully manifest. I give you full access and full control. Make me a new person, Make me anew and give me a new identity. In Jesus name, Amen.
