Understanding Expanded

The fact that we have an ability and a revelation that helps us understand and decode the language of heaven makes it the greatest privilege of all. when we continue to pursue his heart and read the Bible not just for information or knowledge but for wisdom and a revelation of what God is like, desires and wants, then we are not just trying to understand the rules in the bible. But we are to understand the God in the Bible.

The Psalmist says in today’s verse that He pursues the command of God and will you and I go seeking Gods instructions? We will come to understand when the Psalmist is hearing the voice of God saying He wants to understand what God wants him to do to bring glory and honour unto Gods name.

Servants are not the same as sons a servant doesn’t go looking for commands, it comes to them but a son will go further to understand what his father wants him to do. A bride will The Lord is looking for a generation that is ignorant and fed up pursuing God and God is asking if we will pursue him for his commands and not for the anointing and provisions and for his hand of favour but with the heart to pursue his commands. Every time we receive a command from God and understand that God wants us to do something, whether small or big. After receiving it willingly and taking a step to obey it and practice, the Bible says that obedience will expand our understanding. There are many of us who pursue Gods voice but don’t obey till the point of obedience brings understanding.

When we pursue Gods commands, and what He is speaking and declaring over us every day and season then we will receive further understanding about the next season of our lives and clarity on the next steps to take. The reason we are still living in doubt and fear is that we have not taken the first step in obeying the voice and commands of God. Let us make a declaration this season that we will pursue Gods command because He will increase and expand our understanding and revelations.
