Spout off Criticism
I could say the same things if you were in my place. I could spout off criticism and shake my head at you. But if it were me, I would encourage you. I would try to take away your grief. Instead, I suffer if I defend myself, and I suffer no less if I refuse to speak. – Job 16:4,5,6
Oppose or Embrace
Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, and many others to rise. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. – Luke 2:34

Notice the Problem

Sin’s Purposes
But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my death? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation to death. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes. – Romans 7:13
Real Integrity
His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” – Job 2:9
