Patience – The Will of God

Transcript:

Today, let’s not allow the world around us to drain us, instead, we should be the ones to give hope and strength because, that is the will of God concerning our lives.

In Hebrews 10:35&36, it says, do not lose your courage.The Lord is saying, do not lose your courage, because it brings with it a great reward. When we embrace a season of bad circumstances and when we stand up with courage, the Bible says, it brings with it, a great reward. The Lord says, you need to be patient in order to do the will of God and to receive what he promises.This courage requires us to be patient and expects us to have long suffering attitude.

It is the will of God for us to remain steady, stable, focused, and constantly rooted in the same place, because, in due time, our harvest will come to us. In Joshua, chapter 1, we can see that the Lord would constantly repeat his words to this young man by the name Joshua, who had taken up the mantle of leadership over the nation, he had to fill Moses’s shoes and God speaks to him over and over again. Similarly, our Lord is speaking to us today, to be strong and courageous. What is standing before us may look like a giant, but in the name of Jesus, every giant will fall! Every oceans will part. All we have to do is, be patient and not give up. Because, it is the will of God for us to inherit his promises this week. 

As we go around this week, be a carrier of hope and grace. There are people out there who don’t have the same access to this voice like we do. So, we have to be the extension of God’s grace to them. We have to be the carrier of good news, instead of constantly complaining about all the bad things in our life.
