Resting Place
Listen
David prays to God and asks Him to enter into His resting place in his season of waiting. We need to pray this prayer in our lives as well.
It is understood in the new testament that we are God’s temple and resting place and He is already in us. But in this season we need to ask God to arise and enter into all the areas of our lives. We need to intentionally ask God to fill us up every day.
The Ark of the covenant was build as an act of obedience to the Lord and wherever the people took the Ark of the convenant they got victory and hence David prays for the same. He prays for God’s manifestation in his life as well.
If we are the resting place for God, how much are we willing to take just to make sure that God feels at home? How much sacrifices are we willing to make?
Our bodies are the temple of God and God will destroy anything that will destroy His temple.
We need to take care to look after our bodies and life, we need to be disciplined and we need to be careful how we live out our lives.
This is possible because we live under the new testament and we have the presence and grace of God and we can resist the works of the devil and we can be in union with God.
Can you make this prayer that David prayed? Can you take a moment to ask God to come with the Ark of Tabernacle , which is the symbol of power and victory?
Hope you will.
