Best of All Lands

Good morning & Greetings in Jesus name!
The Lord wants to remind you of how much He cares for you and how much He wants the best in every aspect of your life. The more we walk with the Lord, the more we understand His heart and His ways, the more we will be aware of His promises in our life.
In the book of Ezekiel 20:6, the Lord is recounting the promise that He made over the nation of Israel.
“I took a solemn oath that day that I would bring them out of Egypt to a land I had discovered and explored for them—a good land, a land flowing with milk and honey, the best of all lands anywhere.”
God took an oath, a promise. God was willing to put Himself on the line to say that I am going to bring it to pass. I am the one that is making this covenant with you and I will never let you down, I will never fail.
Today, dear friends, can you trust the promises of God over your life. Can you look into the scriptures, into your own life, the prophecies received in the past, present and also for the future and be thankful to the Lord for the solemn oath that He has made with you. Thank God for His goodness over your life. Even when you forget the promises He remembers them. He never forgets His promises. Even if the promise takes generations to be fulfilled or it gets fulfilled after your lifetime, it will be fulfilled. Every word that God speaks, does not return void or empty.
When we have to inherit these promises from God, we have to come out of our slavery, our bondages, all the things that keep us away from our promises. In this season if we want to see the promises that God has made to us come to pass, we should be willing to allow God to bring us out of Egypt. The promise is that I will bring them out of Egypt, not that they will have to fight their way out of Egypt. It is God who will bring them out into the land that He has explored and discovered for them. This is the line that captivates me. This shows the heart and mind of God that went looking and preparing a land that God wanted to bless them with. So it was not that the Israelites wanted this land and God said you can have it! But it was God who discovered the land, spent time exploring the land for them, the Lord made sure that it is a good land, the Lord made sure to check the productivity of the land and whether it flows with milk and honey, He compared this land to other lands to conclude that this is the best land and finally when God was convinced, He called Abraham, Moses; He gave the revelation of the promised land to His people. What we see is the evidence of the preparation process that God went through to make sure that this land is livable, inhabitable, enjoyable, so that the nation of Israel will enjoy it.
A revelation like that will make it easier to celebrate and receive what God has given to us. Instead of complaining, instead of questioning the process, instead of crying when certain things are not falling in a certain place. When we remember and understand, that this job that God has given me, this marriage that God has given me, this sibling that God has given me, this church that God has blessed me with, it is good, it is the best that Lord has discovered and explored.
If God has given you a promise, you can trust Him to give you the ability to sustain and enjoy the promise. Share on XIt doesn’t mean that I don’t have to fight giants there. It doesn’t mean that the process is going to be easy. I am going to trust that if God has given me this promise then He will give me the ability to sustain this promise, to enjoy this promise.
Instead of being critical of all the people in your life, cribbing about the problems in your marriage or at the workplace, if we can thank the Lord for the blessings for the promises he has given you and the promises he is about to fulfil. It is the Lord who has gone before you to discover and explore the land and only then has He brought you here.
