Bottom of All This
1 Timothy 2:8-10 MSG
Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray – not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God. And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God, not primping before a mirror or chasing the latest fashions but doing something beautiful for God and becoming beautiful doing it.

Apostle Paul is writing this letter when christians were persecuted and he is asking to teach especially the men to pray instead of getting into a fight.
God expects from us that we put our hands to the right use.
We as christians are expected to respond in the prayer closet than in the war room.
Apostle Paul also addresses the women in the church to teach the sisters to not spend time chasing vain dreams in front of a mirror by adoring themselves because that is not the place where you will find true identity, you will only find your true identity in the presence of God and by coming before God in complete humility believing that God has a purpose and He considers you valuable. That is when you will find true beauty in yourself.

Go into the presence of God today and release your passion today in worship, in prayer, in receiving His word, in giving to His kingdom, in helping someone and being beneficial to the people around you in anyways.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
