Today’s verse is a declaration over all those fearful hearts.
We might have genuine reasons to be fearful but God is saying to be strong! When you will be strong, then God will come and destroy your enemies.
Whatever your enemies are in this season, it may be the enemy of money, relationships, bad health or anything, the promise in this verse is for you.
You might have waited for long, but God is not delaying because He doesn’t want to bless you, but He is waiting for you to first kick that fear out of you.
The Israelites fear left the moment Goliath was killed, but David’s fear left the moment he heard that Goliath was fighting against God. At that very moment he conquered the fear and he strengthened himself and walk into the battle field.
The moment you are wiling to kick out the fear and strengthen yourself and walk with God, the Lord says He is going to destroy your enemies.
Let God arise and your enemies flee!
Do Not Fear
Isaiah 35:4
Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”
Listen
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
