Pathway to Joy

Jesus here is teaching a new principle to pray and ask using His name.

Even before He had died for us on the cross His name had power. Can you imagine how much more power it carries after the death and the resurrection of Jesus.

The Bible says in Philippians 2:5 that because Jesus humbled Himself even to the point of death, God raised Him up and made His Name that is above every other name. At the name of Jesus, every tongue will confess, every knee will bow, and every person will surrender to the Lordship of the name of Jesus.

Jesus is giving us a pathway to joy. As a result of the prayer being answered, we will have abundant joy. Jesus wants to release joy into our spirits.

If you will receive this verse (John 16:24) as a promise over your life for this year, you will be able to pray, do ministry, seek God, teach and preach and see the favor of God when you pray in the name of Jesus. You will see the favor of God, when you declare a blessing in the name of Jesus and that favor of God will bring you great joy.

Your name written in the Book of Life has to be your greatest reason for rejoicing. Our rejoicing is not supposed to be only in our answered prayers. Even when your prayers don’t get answered don’t be discouraged but continue to be persistent in your prayer, because ultimately, when you do receive the answer to your prayer, you will receive abundant joy. So, don’t give up in this season, no matter how hard it looks like. Continue to use the name of Jesus as the pathway to joy and release this verse (John 16:24) as you pray, saying;

“Lord, today I need abundant joy, today I need great joy, today I need exceeding joy, so answer my prayer my Daddy, because I pray in the name of Jesus.”
