Raise the Battle Flag
Isaiah 18:3 NLT
“All you people of the world, everyone who lives on the earth – when I raise my battle flag on the mountain, look! When I blow the ram’s horn, listen!”

We have been studying through the book of Isaiah because we value God’s word, His voice and what He is trying to do in us.
And the Bible says, “Man shall not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 8:3 – NLT).”
I hope and believe that God is doing this for you. One reason we sometimes don’t hear God’s voice is because we are only focused on ourselves. If we could turn our focus to pray for others, then God will automatically manifest to you. He will begin to move on your behalf.
Jesus talks in Luke 11 about a man where he helps his friend who needed his help to feed his guest. And because the friend was persistent, even though it was inconvenient in the night, the man still helped his friend so that he can feed his guest. That’s the kind of faith God is looking in us. So if we can fight with God not for ourselves but also for our friends, family and others that’s when there will be a breakthrough.
Isaiah 18:3 talks about prayer and how it is like a battle that you are in. No battle can be won unless you are intentional, persistent, unless you fight them strategically and you have a superior hand!
It is our prayer which is a battle flag and ram’s horn. And when we pray this way, the Lord will fight on our behalf. We don’t have to because our battle is not against flesh and blood, it is against the spiritual principalities and powers of darkness that are prevailing around the atmosphere around our house and church and cities.
Can you imagine where God can take us if we are intentional? We cannot do it in convenience but it has to be intentional! You have to fight the battle. And, when you clear this battle atmosphere over these principalities, it becomes so much easier for a breakthrough which will be immediate.
Prayer:
“Father God I pray that in this season there will rise a mighty generation of prayer warriors. Not just praying people but prayer warriors! Those who fight in prayer. Those who raise their battle flag and blow the ram’s horn against that which stands against the knowledge of God and bring them down and bring them obedient to the voice of Jesus. We thank you for hearing our prayer, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!”

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
