Victory Over Rebellion
1 Kings 20:13 NLT
Then a certain prophet came to see King Ahab of Israel and told him, “This is what the LORD says: Do you see all these enemy forces? Today I will hand them all over to you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

Series: Overwhelming Victory
King Ahab and his wife Jezebel were ruling with wickedness being involved in the nation in this period.
There was idolatory and pagan worship which made God upset.
King Ahab was attacked by Ben Hadad, where he had to surrender his wife, property, family and everything he had.
However, before taking a decision, King Ahab took an advice from the elders.
When King Ben Hadad was ready to attack, a prophet was brought to King Ahab and he received a word of deliverance.
King Ahab asked the prophet whether they should attack first. Though Ahab was rebellious, and being controlled by his wife, wicked; by whom Elijah was scared, he submitted to the strategy of the prophets and the elders around him and mastered the troops!
The Lord gave victory to King Ahab three times because he was submissive to the leaders under him.
32 neighbouring kings were destroyed at the same time, which is not just a sign of victory but overwhelming victory.
At times submission can be manipulated or misused but it’s a biblical principle to be practiced.
As you make decisions, submit to the people around you and break every rebellion and be set free.
