Then the waters returned and covered all the chariots and charioteers—the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived.

The Israelites were in Egypt because of the partnership between Joseph and Pharaoh but the new Pharaoh made slaves of them. Often people get carried away with things like a big salary or a good looking guy, and soon it becomes a bondage and they become slaves to it.
After a long struggle with Pharaoh, Moses finally got God’s people out of Egypt but Pharaoh still didn’t give up and pursued after them.
Once the Israelites had crossed over to the other side, God asked Moses to raise the same hand that he rose to part the sea to cover the Egyptians in the sea.
One can use the same hand of authority that God gave as a blessing to squash everything that the enemy throws at them.
Children of God have infinite authority over the people and circumstances that fight them.
Moses exercised this authority at various levels like making the place dark, sending frogs and flies, making the first born males die and finally covering the Egyptians in the sea without letting a single person survive.
God gives an overwhelming victory over all the addictions and struggles that His child faces.
One should trust the water of the Holy Spirit to break their addictions.
One can exercise their authority by raising their hand, praying during struggles, speaking the word of faith, but only God can break the power of addictions, slavery, bondages, etc.
One should do their part and trust in Him to take over and have His way in their life.
People of God should yield to the water Holy Spirit and wield the shield that God hands over to them. By doing this one partners with God in crushing the head of slavery with their own hand and authority.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
