Way of Escape

In our most challenging days, God provides a way of escape.

Usually, we tend to find or make our own way of escape, just like how Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover up for their nakedness, their mess and their mistakes! But rest assured that God is faithful to show us a way of escape!

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, the Bible says that our temptations are common to all man, so when the enemy comes to tell us that only you are going through this, only you are being mistreated and rejected, only you are going through this problem, know that he is lying for sure.

The Bible doesn’t say there won’t be any temptations that we have to endure. It says we are all going to be faced with them but because God is faithful, God has put inside of us the grace, the strength, the solutions, a way out from all these temptations.

God allows us to go through this because He knows we can overcome it by His grace. He doesn’t put us in situations so we give up and end up in a place where we are hopeless.

This morning, can we run to God and ask Him our way of escape so we don’t succumb to this pain, this distraction? Can we pray and ask God to deliver us from evil?

Jesus prayed for Peter too! He told Peter his faith is going to be sifted like wheat, but Jesus prayed this that Peter would come to Him, that he would stand out and that the enemy would not have any foothold.

I hope this word empowers and strengthens you so you can run to Jesus, who is faithful to show you a way when there seems to be no way!
