Watches Over You

Good morning & Greetings to you in Jesus precious name! Welcome to this amazing new day!

Today, the Lord is promising his protection over you one more time, He is there with you, He is declaring His love, His heart, His power, His might, His ability that is at work, not just in you, but around you.

The Lord knows how to protect your interest, the Lord knows how to protect your destiny and He is actively working, He Himself is actively working to make it happen.

The Bible says in Psalm 121:5, “The Lord himself watches over you, the Lord stands beside you as your protective shade”.

He is promising that He Himself is present beside you and He is watching over you. We may think that God assigned angels to take care of me, it’s true! yet it’s not enough, He said, I myself will stand by your side and watch over you. He is so possessive of you, so obsessed with protecting you that I myself will personally ensure to watch over you, I wills and beside you as your protective shade. This is the assurance that God is giving us.

We may have questions and doubts, why we get harmed? hurt?, why didn’t He show up when all these people were ganging up against me?, why is it that my help, my protection didn’t arrive when I was constantly being harmed and abused in this fashion and in this place?. The Lord says, even in those moments, when you felt like you are not being watched, even when you felt like you’ve not been protected, you have no idea who was standing beside you as your protective shade. Yes, the enemy tried to kill you, to steal from you and destroy your life, destiny, testimony, the enemy tried his best, but in spite of all of that, I am still your protective shade, I am standing beside you, so when I allowed certain things in your life when I allowed a person to come in and hurt you, it is not going to harm you, it is only going to help or bless or provide for you a better blessing. All those things you think are for your harm, are opportunities for you to grow and climb higher in the spiritual realm and physical realm, just like Job experience all the attacks of the enemy and after the attack, he came out more blessed, more protected, more covered than ever before because the Lord himself was watching over Job, he stood beside Job, through the entire ordeal as his protective shade.

Today, the Lord is promising over you, inspire of what you are going through, He is still promising, “I will be your protective shade, I know how much you can handle, I will not let you be tempted beyond your ability and whenever there is a temptation that comes your way, I am going to give you a way out because I am watching over you, I am very careful to only allow the things that I believe are meant to be for your blessing, for creating more opportunities for more growth in your life.”

The Lord allows certain attacks in our life for us to grow in our spiritual realm. When we believe this about our relationship with God that the Lord himself watches over me and stands beside me as my protective shade, the way that we respond to our life circumstance, to a virus that surrounds us, to our physical environment where we’ve been challenged or struggling, it is going to change completely. Now we are not going to be afraid nor frightened, now we will have the courage and boldness and faith in every word that we speak, in every action that we exhibit, everything we do, there will be an imprint of heaven’s boldness in our spirit.

My hope and my prayer today is that this scripture will not just be information or knowledge but will become your revelation, going through this day, I’m hoping that some of you are going to feel his touch physically manifesting in your life, you will feel Him placing His hands over your shoulders, you will feel Him brushing past your clothes as you spend time seeking His face. Then you will actually experience His gaze upon you because He watches over you and stands beside you as your protective shade. If He is there, you need to experience Him and you will today, as your faith grows may this become your physical manifestation.
