Stimulate Your Thinking

Good morning & Greetings in Jesus name! I believe that the Lord is stirring your spirit , stirring up something inside of you, He is depositing something inside of you. He is depositing an amount of wisdom, understanding and direction that you need for the season, the choices and the journey ahead of you.

In the book of 2 Peter, chapter 3 verse 1, he says,“ This is my second letter to you and in both of my letters, I have tried; this is my purpose, this is my desire and purpose of writing to you, I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory.” Paul says that this is why I’ve been writing to you all along. It is not to tell you something that you don’t know already, you may know, understand and may even have a better understanding of some of these truths and yet, here I am trying to refresh your memory, trying to remind you of the things that you already are aware about.

For a child of God, you don’t need to preach something that they’re aware about. Every child of God that has the presence of the Holy Spirit, has the wisdom of God in them and has the access to the heavenly kingdom, there is absolutely nothing that they don’t know, but what men of God do, when they try to reach out to their people is try to refresh and stimulate their understanding to tap into the things that they already have, already received and have been blessed with, things that have deposited on the inside of them.

If you have never heard about Jesus or the Holy Spirit, then we are bringing God’s word or presence to you but if you are someone who has been in the Lord or walking with the Lord, then we are here to remind you one more time, refresh your memory one more time. Let me read it one more time, I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory. So the purpose of this is one, to refresh your memory and to stimulate. The ESV translation says “It is to stir up your thought process, it is a stirring on the inside of your head”. So every time God’s word comes to you, it is to bring you back a reminder of what God has already been given to you and secondly also to stir up, cause an unrest, disturb the convenient environment you have settled in and whenever there is a stirring up, there is a fresh deposit.

Whenever there is a stirring up in your thinking, there is a fresh wisdom and understanding transferred into that environment.

We declare that your life, your season, day, week ahead will begin to witness this revelation. in Jesus mighty name, you will not be fending for yourself nor fight, lift or promote yourself because God is giving you everything that you need as He’s your shepherd.

Prayer: Father, we thank you for this morning and week ahead. We thank you that you are stimulating wholesome thinking and stimulating our minds. We thank you that you are causing a fresh reminder and refreshment to come upon our hearts and minds. we receive the grace and understanding to live a victorious week. In Jesus mighty name we pray.
