But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” – Acts 10:15

Greetings to you in Jesus precious name!

Welcome to this brand-new day. This is the day when we experience how much God loves us, this is the day when we encounter His mercy and grace over us one more time. The more we come to His presence, the more we will get to know Him, and we will allow Him to know us. I understand your question would be, how can we allow the Lord to know us? He knows everybody and everything. He is a God all-knowing. I am not just talking about information about you. I am talking about being intimately involved in your life. That He would not do unless you allow him to come in. That is why Jesus said there would be many who come to me on the last day and say that we did so many things for you, but I would tell them I don’t know you. Today, we want God to know us as, as much as we want to know God.

The Bible says in the book of Acts 10:15, But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” The one thing that usually stops a child of God from allowing the presence of God into his life, heart, and mind to come in and encounter Him, to be intimate with Him. The one thing that stops us from doing that is we are guilty; we feel so sinful and unworthy to let in God’s presence. Whereas God wants to come in and have a meal with you, conversation with you, have an intimate personal relationship with you. We always look at ourselves as unworthy and unclean instruments. That is why we push God’s presence away and that guilt keeps us away from the right people, church and other fellowships that are meant to bless us.

Today, the Lord is coming and speaking to some of our hearts. Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean and that involves your personal life, how you look at yourself and others, how you look at your church, your brothers, and sisters. When the Lord has made that person clean, you have no right to look at that person and say this person is still unclean. It’s obvious that every person has failure, challenges and nobody is 100% perfect. But the problem is when we equalize a person’s imperfection to the fact that this person is no longer clean, or no longer righteous, holy, worthy or ready to receive from God. Sometimes we do this over somebody else, but most of the time, we do this over ourselves. Because we know ourselves better than anybody else. We know our failures, deep dark secrets, we know those things in our mind, heart, things in our past, present and future that we don’t want to tell anybody else and it is natural to look at ourselves and say I am so unclean. I am so not ready.

You are not yet everything that God has planned and prepared to be. And yet, the fact of the matter is you are cleaned. As soon as you came under the salvation of Jesus Christ, you are already cleaned by the blood of Jesus. There is nothing about you that is uncleaned in the eyes of God.

You need to treat yourself as somebody righteous, clean, pure, and perfect. Even when failures or imperfection are showing in your life in moral, physical, emotional, or spiritual life. God is saying “I want you to look at this something God already dealt with and made you clean” this failure cannot impact your identity. When we live our life with that intentionality, we can have a clean and confident relationship with God.

The one thing that stops us from allowing the presence of God is guilt, whereas the Lord has already made us clean. Share on X

The enemy’s trick is that he will constantly tell you you are not worthy enough, you have not prayed or worshipped enough, you have not done anything that God will turn to you and bless you. But in this season, I have come to tell you something, God saying over your life “If I have made something clean do not call unclean”.

Today is my 34th birthday, and the Lord has been so gracious and merciful throughout all the years. In my 21 years of walking with God, one thing I want to tell you upfront is my life made up of failures of sins, so many places where I have rebelled against God, I have broken faith in my relationships around me. I am not really of worthy anything that God wants to give me. But I cannot look at my life the way I see it, I must look at my life the way how God see it.

When I take the things in my own hands I declare and proclamation over my life, I am taking God’s place in my own life. But I am not who say I am, but I am who God says I am. And God says you are clean, pure, righteous, perfect and everything I have created you to be. And I will trust His voice over my life.

I pray that some of you will make a choice today, that you will trust written over your life and brought forth on the cross what He has paid a price on the cross for your life. And believe this word will encourage and strengthens you and equip you to have a confident relationship with God for the rest of this season.

I also take moment to thank all of you for your wishes and prayers for my life and for standing with me over this one year. And everything that you have done to serve to be hands and feet of Jesus in our life. May the Lord continue to bless you where ever you are.
