Inspect the Work
Listen
Transcript:
In the book of Exodus, we read that the workers in the creative department did all the artwork, woodwork, tabernacles and vessels that God had ordained to be made. They did their best job, and then, they brought it to Moses. Moses inspected all their work from end to end to see if it had been done the way that the Lord had commanded him. This is what we need to do in our lives daily. In this season, the Lord wants to sharpen our ideologies, perspectives, and viewpoints.
How often do we inspect our heart, our ways, our ministries, and our calling? If we have not been doing this very often, then we would put a lot of efforts and time to do something but only to understand at the end of the day that this was never what God had asked us to do in the first place. We should make a practice to inspect what we are doing and then compare that with what God has already commanded us to do. Let us inspect our conversations, finances, relationships and compare that with the Word of God. When you see that there is a discrepancy and if there are areas in our lives that do not match with what God has commanded us to do, we must get those areas in alignment and allow the Lord to help us to rework those areas.
The Bible says that after Moses had inspected all these things and made sure that everything had been done just as the Lord had commanded him, he blessed the people that worked behind this.
In this season, we need to see the blessing of the Lord, our elders, our pastors and our spiritual parents. We need to learn how to be true to the instructions that have been given to us. Let our lives match up with what God has spoken and has already commanded us to do, and if we will do that, then blessings will surely be ours. The more we pursue obedience, the heart of God, the mind of God, the ways of God, the more we will experience the blessings of God in our lives.
Let us inspect our works to make sure that everything is according to how God has commanded us to do so that we can experience the blessings of the Lord.
Have a blessed and beautiful week ahead!
