Judges 3:10 (NLT)

“The Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he became Israel’s judge. He went to war against King Cushan-rishathaim of Aram, and the LORD gave Othniel victory over him.”

Transcript

The spirit of the Lord is like the breath that he breaths into us. When we receive the spirit of God in our lives, we become alive and purposeful. We become intentional in our actions and thoughts.
In Judges 3:9-10, it says, the people of God has entered their promise land and now they are constantly under attack by the enemy. Therefore God decides to send a deliverer into this nation. And the way God chose to do this, was by sending his spirit on Othniel. And as soon as the spirit of Lord came upon him, he, who was a nobody became the ruler and judge of the nation. He rallied the whole nation into war and overcame the enemy and had victory . Othniel was successfull, only because he was filled with the breath of God.
Everybody has a purpose in their lives. We are called to live for a glorious purpose and destiny, but, it can be only possible when we are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. As we yield to the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit, our passions and dreams will come back to life, and, we shall overcome every giant and have victory.
