Pasturelands of God
Listen
Transcript:
We need to ask the Lord to help us check our ambitions, desires and dreams and the things that we want to do with our lives is not for our glory but for His. When we learn to live for Him and use those resources for His glory we will be able to see his purpose fulfilled in our lives. In today’s verse, we see How Asaph was so upset and angry with the people so much that he prayed that all they have been taken away. Because their interest was for selfish use. How many of the things have we been engaged in today that have been given to us by God or we have seized and forcefully taken. We cannot get a degree without God first giving it to us. When we realize this, we will see Gods blessing and what comes along with it. If we are doing things to seize or take away what rightfully belongs to others then we are in the wrong place.
Are we mindful of using the resources given by God to us for our use or for His use? We have a choice this morning to choose to do what will bring glory to Gods kingdom rather than keeping all to ourselves and choosing not to share with others. If we can have the attitude like Asaph in every area of our lives then no enemy can steal anything from us when we declare over our resources saying that is given to us by God and because of that we choose to use them for Gods purposes and for His glory. When we have such an attitude in every area of our lives then nobody will be able to take away what God has given to us and we will be able to declare the judgement of God upon those trying to take what God has given us. Hence everyone that tries to fight against us is technically taking a fight against God. Today, God is releasing this grace and favour over our lives, work, ministry and the pastureland which He has given us. Remember, don’t seize it, let it be given by God and when it is given, use it for Gods purposes. And when we are using it, we should remember that it still belongs to God.
When we learn to live for God and use those resources for His glory, we will be able to see his purpose fulfilled in our lives. Share on XGet This Episode
