The presence of God can minster to us, wherever we are, it is all-powerful and Omnipresent. Can we allow it to mould our heart and life, if we will yield ourselves and our environment to the Lord? A fresh perspective is waiting for us.
In 1 chronicles 13:6, it says, David went up to Kiriath-Jearim to bring in the ark of God where God dwelt in personally, to bring to Jerusalem to the city where David lived. This was a noble thing that he desired concerning the presence of God, he did not want to be separated from the presence of God though he was King, he could not function without the presence of God. He wanted to do everything possible to invite Gods presence into his palace and lifestyle.
A hunger for the presence of God, not only during worship, an anointed preaching, a deliverance meeting, sermon or other spiritual encounter is essential, but the desire for the encounter with God’s presence when nothing is happening, when the atmosphere is dry or when no blessings are spoken over our life is important. When we realise there is a presence of God, we can tap into on the outside, we are setting up ourselves for a great revelation.
Today, may our hunger for the presence of God, yield heavenly encounters of who God is, and a new perspective on his mannerisms. These guys understood the ark was known by the one who sits enthroned. May the lord have divine rulership and be enthroned in everything we do; may he take over every aspect of our lives, in Jesus’ name. This will only happen if we are diligently pursuing, running, and seeking for the presence of God to be manifest in us even on days when we have a lot of battles or even when we are content. If we constantly pursue God’s presence, his identity will be manifested in our lives.
