Baptised into What?

Good Morning and Greetings in Jesus’ name!
I hope and believe that you are receptive and willing to allow the Lord to work deeply in your life. It is necessary that we understand our identity, what the Lord has been deposited in our spirits and what the Lord is doing in our life so that we function better. Lack of awareness can keep us in bondage, but if we know the truth, it will set you free.
Acts 19:2,3 says, “and said to them, “Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?” They said to him, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” He said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.””
The apostles began to investigate to understand if these guys did have a revelation of what they were baptized into! When we get baptized, the person who is doing the baptism tells us that we are baptizing you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We think its just about a name but the truth is that our identity is defined by what we are baptized into.
When we are baptized, we are actually physically going into the water, therefore it is called water baptism. But the apostles were seeing it from the spirit realm and were trying to identify if the people really had an encounter with the Lord because of what happened in the natural realm.
In the physical realm, everybody was getting baptised and these guys also got baptised. But in the spiritual realm, if they had a revelation, and if they really understood who they were and whose they were then, that physical active baptism was not just about being added into the church, but it was now a change of identity.
Now they belong to God the Father, they are baptized into Jesus, they are filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. This confession of who they are and what they are clothed in will govern them for the rest of their lives.
Do you know what you are baptised into? Do you know who you belong too? Do you know where you are headed too? The information that your spirit has in just head knowledge or has it become a revelation to you? Has it become the foundation for the rest of your life?
If you do believe that there is something special about you as a child of God, then the way you are going to treat yourself, the way you live your life, the way you respond to your circumstances, the way you respond to the voice of the enemies, the voice of your friend, relatives, everything will change based on what you believe about yourself!
Pray: Father we thank you this morning that we are baptised into your presence. We believe that we are baptised into the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are not just names, but are individual personalities that we have received in our being and that is our spiritual DNA and that is what we will manifest here on earth all the days of our life. We than you Lord for the assurance and grace.
