Good Morning and Greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this beautiful new day. I believe that the Lord has prepared a table for us today, if we are willing to eat and prepare for the meal that Jesus is preparing for us. Sometimes we take the preparation process lightly. We want God to prepare meal for us but we are not making efforts to make preparation in our lives by making changes in our relationships or way of living, yet we expect God to do everything from the beginning to the end. The truth of the matter is that God is the one who does everything form the beginning till the end however he will never over ride our free will; He will put the ball in our court and wait for our yes and cooperation to his work in our lives so he can change and transform us and make us fit for his kingdom use.
Luke 14:15 says, Hearing this, a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, “What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!”
In todays scripture we can see a man who is hoping to dine at the table with Jesus. He is seated at the table with Jesus himself and yet He is hoping for something better and different. The problem with many of us in Church today is that Jesus is sitting at the table with us, He is speaking to us week after week and He is wanting to transform us every time we study the word; yet we respond with if only we could!
Jesus was the one who was carrying the Kingdom of God. Everyone who is having a meal with Jesus is actually having a banquet in the Kingdom of God. Like Zaccheus who had a revelation of Jesus, He invited Him to come and dine at his house and after the dinner Jesus declared salvation had come into the house.
Jesus explains that many come into the wedding feast and yet not everybody prepare themselves or wear the right clothing. It is in our preparation and readiness to set ourselves up for a banquet that we will be chosen.
Our readiness and alertness should be sharp and high that we will be immediately able to identify when the Lord is speaking. Share on XMay we never miss our encounter moment because of our lack of preparation.
Let us surrender ourselves and ask God to keep our receptivity open that we will know when we are sitting at the banquet table with Jesus.
Father we pray that our revelation in this season will be sharp. We will not miss a revelation moment and a divine encounter because we have been casual with certain things In Jesus Mighty name. Amen!
