Greetings in Jesus’ name. Welcome to this beautiful new day!
Wherever you live today, serve, whichever place you work at, you need to remember that the Lord Jesus wants to come and make His dwelling place among you and in every area of your life. His desire is that He can have a place to live in those domains in which you have influence, so that ultimately, because of your dominion, He can also have dominion. One of the primary ways in which we can welcome God’s presence, is by building our homes; our families; our churches, in a way that brings pleasure to the heart of God.
In the Old Testament, when God gave instructions to Moses about building the Tabernacle, He specified the height, width, the entrance. God even went on to detail the curtain poles, holders and the material to sew them together.
Let’s read Ex 26:30, where God is speaking to Moses saying, “Set up this Tabernacle according to the pattern that you were shown on the mountain”. This was because, it was neither supposed to be a house for Moses nor the Israelites nor any earthly organization. This was supposed to be a dwelling place for God, His presence. When we think of what Moses saw and encountered, we think that he must have heard a voice or that he had a vision or a revelation. He was actually taken up into Heaven and there, he saw the Heavenly pattern of what a Tabernacle should look like.
Today, it is necessary that we take time to climb up the mountain to ask God to show us a specific pattern of behaviour and lifestyle that we can replicate here on the earth. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He said that, you need to ask, desire and pray thus: “Let your will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven”. So, when you climb up the mountain, to pray and spend time with God, you are gaining access to Heavenly realities; to God’s will, as it is done in Heaven. The purpose, is not just to mention our needs but also to know, see, understand and receive a revelation of how we should set up the Tabernacle once we get back down. A pattern, that we can imitate, replicate in every area of our lives and one that we can teach others in our area of influence, in order to establish the will of God on this Earth, as it is in Heaven.
The purpose of climbing up the mountain is to receive a pattern from God that we can imitate in different areas of our life. Share on XI’ll read this verse one more time: Let it become an instruction in your Spirit. “Set up this Tabernacle according to the pattern that you were shown on the mountain”.
Father, we thank you for the new revelation you are giving your children this morning, on how to do different aspects, different things, decisions and choices that they have to make today. Help us to replicate Heaven here on the Earth. Thank you for this special grace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
