The Daily Miracles

Good morning my dear friends, welcome to this beautiful new day! I hope you are doing well, I hope you are taking time to meditate on the things that God is showing you on a daily basis. Sometimes when we look around, everything looks normal, nothing out of the blue or different, sometimes we can get stuck in that routine and keep seeing the same things again and again and lose our wonder and your awe for what God is actually trying to speak to us and teach us.

The book of Job chapter 37:14, “Pay attention to this, Job. Stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God! When we see a statement like that we may wonder what kind of Miracle is he speaking about, some kind of crazy miraculous healings, yet what this guy is speaking of is ordinary stuff. He says, “do you know how God controls the storm?, how the lightning flashes from the cloud?”, and he says you have to stop and consider this wonderful miracle of God.

Next, he says, “Do you understand how he moves the clouds with wonderful perfection and skill?, while you were sweltering in your clothes and how the south winds die down and everything is still?, how the skies reflect the heat like a Bronze mirror.

All these things that he is talking about are natural things, but he finds the wonder working Power of God in the routine things that he sees every day, that is a man that has a different revelation of who God is. It is easy to find the presence of God when we see crazy things happening around us, but it is harder to find the presence of God in everyday routines.

Everything looks normal to a man who does not have a revelation of who their God is, but to somebody who is walking in close proximity with God, everything that God is doing, you’ll live in wonder of all of those things, in a state of Thankfulness, in a state you will be willing to see and acknowledge and pursue those routine things that God is working in.

I’m sure that many of us have our various routines, whatever routine is yours, can you ask God to give you the wonderful miracles that He is doing on a daily basis. I hope and I pray that we can actually be thankful and grateful and see the miracle-working power and hand of God in every area of our lives. In each and every aspect if we can see the wonder-working miracle of God. That is what Elihu is telling Job, pay attention to this Job, unless you stop, you will not be able to catch this. We are in the habit of going from one thing to the next all through the day, but the man of God says, why don’t you stop, why don’t you consider what God is doing, why don’t you meditate on the things you can’t see but are still actively trying to taking you down in ways you can’t imagine, stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God.

Prayer: Dear Father, this morning we pray that you will give us a discerning eye, that we will be able to stop, see, consider, meditate on and even celebrate the wonderful miracles that you are doing in our lives, some of these things may look like routines and it happens every day, nothing great about it, but today we don’t want to take it for granted, we want to celebrate those things and we want to be thankful for the things that you are doing in our lives. We yield ourselves to you, In Jesus Mighty name we pray, Amen.
