And a Willing Mind!!
1 Chronicles 28:9 NLT
And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

The Bible promises that If you seek Him, you will find Him. God knows what’s happening in our hearts and in our minds. To receive this promise, it is necessary to be willing in our hearts and in our minds.
What does it take to have a willing mind?
- Willingness is saying “Yes Lord, here I am, I’m ready”. While this is easy to say, often we don’t say yes to God’s choices in our everyday lives. This is because our minds are filled with many other voices.
- Renew your thoughts. Earthly knowledge and wisdom is helpful but we need to give more weightage to the word of God. Meditate on the word and let it fill your mind.
- The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. What you are listening to fills your mind and you will be willing to say yes to it. When you are continuously exposed to the word of God it will be easy to have a willing mind. When you are continuously listening to every other voice, you become willing to say yes to those.
- James 4:4 says that friendship with the world is enmity with God. When you say yes to the world, you are saying no to God. When you say yes to God, you are saying no to the world.
May you be receptive to the voice of God and receive the promise that says if you seek Him, you will find Him.
