God Anointed Jesus – Healing

Jan 14, 2019 | Revival

Acts 10:38 NLT
And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

The three important things Jesus was bestowed with in the verse is:
– God’s anointing with the Holy Spirit
– God’s power
– God’s presence

As long as Jesus was on Earth, He was just as you and me, as fragile and impotent as us.

He had to prove that a human being in his weakest place can remain sinless.

Was the privilege of being anointed and to be walking with God only reserved for Jesus? Is it not also for us?

The church is quite active when it comes to serving and helping out people but quite reluctant in healing people who are being oppressed by the devil.

Not every sickness is an oppression of the devil, but there are people who are deeply and completely oppressed by the devil, living constantly in a cycle of death, sickness, and mental instability.

You and I are called to be channels of God’s healing and power in their lives.
When we do not do what God has called us to do, people continue living under this oppression in their lives.

Find evidences and assurances from the Word of God that shows you your anointing, power, (Acts 01:08) His presence that is always with you, (Matthew 28:18-20) and that He will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:06).

Find that assurance that gives you divine strength that drives you to go out and declare healing, deliverance from the hearts, minds and bodies of people.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
