Series: Give Birth to a Revival

We have in the twenty first century, with the advance of science and technology, begun thinking ourselves to be of utmost importance taking the love, protection, grace, kindness and the mercy of God for granted.

What brings revival in the Christian’s life is but the presence and the Person of the Holy Spirit.

If not for the Holy Spirit, one sees nothing but emptiness, experiences nothing but vacuum.

It is His presence and power that allows one to encounter God.

Gabriel tells Mary she’s favoured and that the Lord is with her. The definition of favour is that the Lord is with someone.

If God is not with someone, it doesn’t matter if they have the biggest blessings of this world.

If God is with a person, even though the whole world may turn against them, they are favoured.

Revival does not begin with a person going after God, but with Him coming after them.

Before anyone in the Bible decided to pursue after God, God pursued them and searched them out. He exposed a part of Himself that drew them into a continual consistent pursuit of Him.

Revival starts with God- with His presence.

Being favoured of God with His presence brings forth revival in the Christian’s life and in the lives around them.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
