Last Forever

1 Peter 1:23 NLT
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

This podcast is a repost, originally published on January 24, 2017.

In 1 Peter 1:23, God is saying once you belong to God you are a new person, New life has begun, you also got to know the new life you have begun will last forever and it is not a temporary thing,

So many time we have this tendency to come to church to receive word and then to go back believing that something happened the inside of us. However, like all the other Sunday this is going to fade away in the next 2-3 days ..

And sometimes it does happen if we give up on God. When we stop praying it doesn’t look like anything happening in our life, but that is when you have to go to God’s word and confess the truth, the truth that God has not abandoned you. You might not enjoy or feel like being in His presence anymore, but his presence is inside you, beside you, He is there in you and with you.

God says that I will come and live in you forever. The Bible says the new life is forever because the new life comes from eternal living word of God

Whatever your receive from Jesus is eternal, all we need to do is to foster it and nurture the new life as you will nurture a new born baby.

Have a blessed day!

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
