The name of Jesus is so powerful and unique that it could transform you but only if you would trust and depend on Him. Our tendency is to depend on God till it doesn’t hurt but when it does, we begin to look for sources outside that would help us.

In order to see revival in our city or nation, we have to be a church shameless about our dependency on God, we have to risk everything in order to show the dependency on God.

The problem for revival is not because of the lack or pursuit for God but the lack of dependency on God. We can pursue Him all the time but still have our trust on other sources when it comes to critical issues.
In the context referred, the King was completely relying on God but at this point, he sent for help from the people around him. This put him through a state of war but if they had trusted God, He would have strengthened them in all their areas.

If you’re in need of strength or revival, just make sure that you’re heart is completely committed to Him. The eyes of the world search the entire earth to find whose hearts are fully committed, dedicated, loyal to Him.

We hope that God finds someone among us completely committed to Him. God promises, if you are completely committed to Him, He will strengthen, restore, elevate, multiply and increase.

‘I am the God of Greatness’, says the Lord to us. If you want the God of Greatness to be your God, just give up on every source you are trusting. Once He becomes your God, you will definitely elevate.

Do not pursue greatness but pursue the wholeness of heart towards God which gives all to Him. When we are committed to that level, He says that He will come and strengthen, bind your heart, restore your unwillingness, restore every failure as you surrender completely to the voice of God.
