Understand & Believe

Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT
“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.”

This podcast is a repost, originally published on January 26, 2017.

The power required by God to raise Jesus back to life is the same power available to you.

It is not that we do not have the power but that we do not understand the power that is already inside of us.

Paul says we will understand the incredible greatness of this power.

The enemy doesn’t fight you more than he fought Jesus. Whatever the enemy did against Jesus to keep Him dead; God send enough power from heaven to raise Him back to life.

It is not available for everybody but for those who believe Him.

The more you understand, the more you believe; the more you believe, the more you will experience the same mighty power

You do not have to live life in emptiness. You can live in a place when you are reigning and representing this power.

Jesus said we’ll do greater things than He did. When the Holy Spirit comes, you will understand this power and not only will you understand, you will believe.

This power is available to all those who believe in Him.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
