Your Sure Foundation
Isaiah 33:6
In that day He will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.

The Word of God creates, strengthens, revives something on the inside of us. Man’s voice often discourages or lets us down, but the voice of God brings hope and faith, helping us to experience the blessing and breakthrough.
The verse talks about ‘that day’ being ‘the revival day’ where He (God) will be our firm foundation. You get to know when you are in a season of revival when you are not swept by the waves rather you’re standing and being founded on the Word of God. Revivals in our lives should be build on a sure foundation.
Ways in which He becomes our sure foundation is by providing salvation, wisdom and knowledge. If there’s anything we need more it is – salvation, wisdom and knowledge by God being our firm foundation.
The verse continues to say, the fear of the Lord will be your treasure. It is not something that you’d enjoy grudgingly rather with happiness and joy.
Times when the stock market goes high it gives hope about the land that you have invested into which becomes more like a treasure. Likewise, the fear of God may not look like an investment. But, when you begin to see the result of investing into the fear of the Lord, the verse talks about ‘that day’, when ‘the revival day!’ comes it’ll become our treasure.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
