Series: Psalm 65

This verse is a prayer, a song to God.

God is the one who takes care of the earth, the one who takes care of our life and the one who knows every aspect of our life so is capable and able to take care of it.

So, we do not need to spend our years in pursuit of trying to get God to take care of us, He’s already taken care of us. God is already been taking care of us and He will be the one to continue to take care of us in the future as well.

But not only is God going to take care of us, and defend us, but He is also going to provide for us.
He is going to take care of the earth and water it.

Just this way, He will make us rich and fertile.
Let His water come upon our lives, our challenges, our problems, our blessings, our children, and everything.

As His water falls on us, it will make us prosper in Him.

The river of God has plenty of water. There’s no need for us to be stingy, whatever are the areas of our lives where we need purity, richness and fertility, let us expose it to this water.

The water provides multiple harvest, plentiness.
The greatest reason to why Christians don’t experience the harvest, is not because we aren’t ploughing the field, or working hard, but it is because we are not expecting the water from the river of God to flow among us and come fill us.

As we draw near to the end of this year, let us make this our prayer that God will cause His rain from the water to fall upon us and fill us and cause fullness, plentiness, abundance, richness, purity, freshness, fertility and a bountiful harvest in our lives. Let there be an outpouring of the living water which is the Holy Spirit, in our lives!
