Transcript

May we experience the fullness of God to the measure that we are changed, transformed, and renewed in the Lord. Every time we encounter the Lord and fail to change our attitude and character, we are heading towards danger.

In 1 Corinthians 10:1, those days there was a Man of God Moses who encountered God on the mountain and brought down the cloud of God because of his personal revelation and experience with God. When the people left Egypt they were under the cloud of glory. This cloud that has descended upon them, was the result of their worship and pursuit of God. And anybody who followed Moses had access to this same cloud. These people who were following Moses ate the same food and drank the same water. And yet the Bible says that “with most of them God was not pleased and were overthrown into the wilderness”. How can this be when we are walking and partaking in the same spiritual food and drink and then are thrown into the wilderness? How can our experiences and encounters not end up in walking a lifetime with God? How come it didn’t change our minds and character?

That means we are not constantly evolving our hearts and minds to become like God, and we are not putting our fleshly desires to death. May we not perish after experiencing and encountering God. Let’s allow these experiences to change and transform us. We have to renew our minds daily in order to reflect the grace that has been given to us for free.
