Let’s pray that we will encounter the Lord and experience His closeness today. The Spirit of God is a person who helps us live our lives to the fullest; protects and guides us. There is a great potential that the Lord has placed in our lives and the Holy Spirit is going to help us reach that final destination. Ephesians 1:13 says, when you received the gospel, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit. We may look at the Holy Spirit as just a commodity or a power or an anointing, but the Bible calls him a person – the third person of the triune God. We were sealed and embraced by him. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not just a Christian ritual, but a seal that we receive from the Lord. It doesn’t matter what others tell about us; we are sealed by the promised Holy Spirit. A document that is sealed can’t be opened or abused by anyone. We are sealed for a specific purpose. The power in us, is a tiny portion of the things coming our way; it is like a down payment. Not just when we get to heaven, but here also, there is a lot that we can experience. What we are experiencing now is just the tip of the iceberg. We are not condemned. We do not belong to the enemy. We belong to the kingdom of heaven. Nobody can take advantage of us, in any way, because we are sealed by the Holy Spirit for a specific assignment from the above.
