Should I Seek God?

The Bible is full of principles that will give us victory, good standing with people and breakthroughs. However we often miss out on seeking God while following Him. The danger is that we can experience the blessing without the presence of the Person who gives us the blessing.
The Bible continually encourages us to seek God, to seek His heart, seek His right ways and a life that is in
accordance with His will and desire. If we have everything except God Himself, our life is empty.
God told Moses that He would allow the Israelites to enter the promised land but He would not personally go with them. The church today has opted for that many times. As believers we need to pursue God everyday. Tell Him how much you need Him and how you are longing to hear from Him, to spend time with Him, to know Him, to be like Him and understand His desire for your life. When we sit in the presence of God, sometimes we don’t even have to hear Him; we just have to see His presence, His kindness, His gentleness, the depth of His promises, the greatness of His power and the beauty of His face.
When we seek Him, we are seeking His Kingdom and the righteous way of life. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God and all these other things shall be added unto you. Seek His Kingdom first, He will provide for all our needs.
Be a God chaser today because we are loved and chased by a God who loves us and sings over us everyday.
As He chases us, let us also go after Him and experience the beauty and the depth of the relationship
God has made available for us through Jesus.
