Unit by Unit
Listen
Greetings in Jesus Name! I hope that you are aligned, planted, rooted in the house of God. The more we are aligned, the more we will be fruitful. In this season, let us be aligned in our heart, mind and spirit. Sometimes, there are many things that stand as an obstacle to stay committed to our leaders, church.
In the Old Testament, 2 Chronicles 26:11, Uzziah had an army of well-trained warriors, ready to march into battle, unit by unit. This army had been mustered and organized by Jeiel, the secretary of the army, and his assistant, Maaseiah. They were under the direction of Hananiah, one of the king’s officials. 12 These regiments of mighty warriors were commanded by 2,600 clan leaders. 13 The army consisted of 307,500 men, all elite troops. They were prepared to assist the king against any enemy.
Uzziah had an army who were well trained and were prepared for battle. They were prepared unit by unit. The qualities of this army were organised, trained and always prepared. Their calling was always to assist the King. The Bible says they were 307,500 elite troops. As much as their calling was to assist the King, they did not function directly under the King. The King’s official, Hananiah led the secretary of the army Jeiel and his assistant Maaseiah.
Jeiel and Maaseiah recruited and trained these 307,500 warriors. They mustered and worked on the unit by unit. They planned the strategies and built them up. Under these two people, they were 2600 clan leaders. Under these clan leaders is the physical army. The army may never get to meet the King but listen to the clan leader and they will listen to the two leaders and they will thereby listen to the King’s official. Hananiah will bring the need and updates to the King and take back instructions from him.
In the church, we get discouraged because we don’t have access to the pastor. Do you have a leader to who you have access too? How have you honoured that leader? It is necessary for you to be aligned with the ones that have been in touch with you.
When you listen to your clan leader, you are listening directly to the King because the clan leader is aligned to their leader.
Our alignment and submission to our leaders guide our assistance in the ministry. Share on XIf we need to assist the king, it is necessary for us to be aligned and submitted to our leaders.
May you learn and find to honour your leaders.
